Whey Protein Concentrate Powder, Produced from a mixture of pasteurized ewe and goat whey
Goat whey is a by-product in the production of goat cheese from goat milk. The Dutch goat whey protein concentrate (WPC 50) is a dietary supplement that consists of powdered protein concentrate from whey. Whey protein concentrates are obtained by ultrafiltration of the sweet whey from cheese production. After ultrafiltration, the liquid concentrate is being spray dried and packed. The WPC 50% contains 50% whey protein.
Applications
WHEYPRO 50 can be used in a range of applications including dairy,bakery products, confectionery, chocolate, salads, desserts and animal feeds.
Amino acid composition
The amino acid composition is of a high quality due to the good ratio between the different amino acids. Goat whey is rich of branched (BCAA-) amino acids (such as valine, leucine and isoleucine).
Separating at low temperatures
Goat Milk Powder B.V. produces its goat whey protein concentrate up to a percentage of 50% through ultrafiltration. Through this method fat, lactose and other goat milk proteins are separated from the goat milk itself at low temperatures. Because of this, the goat protein fractions, which are supporting the immune system and improving the muscular recovery remain intact.
Applications of goat whey protein concentrate (WPC)
There is a great variety in areas where WPC50 can be used. Our main important market is the baby food industry where WPC50 is used successfully in order to arrange the right balance between whey and casein protein. There are exciting opportunities in sectors like sports diets, healthcare and pharmaceutical products but also in the day-to-day production of, for instance, goat yogurt.
Dutch Quality
The aim of the quality control system is to improve the quality of the Dutch goat milk sector by monitoring several different aspects of the goat milk production process: company hygiene, animal medicine, animal health and welfare, feed and drinking water, milk production and refrigeration. In addition, Biotaris also has its own requirements regarding CFUs, butyric acid and purity. Biotaris Goat Milk’s suppliers are rewarded when they comply with these extra stringent quality demands.

Packaging
WHEYPRO 50 is packed in a multi-ply paper bag with inner polyethylene liner, net capacity 15 Kg. Delivery pallets (110 cm x 120 cm), total weight 900 Kg.
Storage conditions
WHEYPRO 50 must be stored in closed bags in a cool and dry place (20°C, 60% RH) away from any source of contamining odours. Must not be exposed to sunlight and avoid direct contact with walls and floors. Shelf life Minimum of two years if kept under the above storage conditions.

Our contractual liability consists in supplying products complying with the above mentioned specifications. In case of failure of these specifications, acknowledged by us and notified in due time, our warrant will be limited to the replacement of the faulty product. Our commitment cannot bind us in case of wrong utilisation of our product. The buyer must follow the rules applied in the country where the product is used.
