Test principle
After infection with Sars-Cov-2 and after the incubation period, antibodies are produced. These can be detected in blood samples by fluorescence-labelled antigens. This allows us to determine whether a patient is infected with Sars-Cov-2 or was

Antibody IgG/IgM
When the SARS-CoV-2 virus infects the human body, the body produces specific antibodies against the virus after an incubation period of one to 14 days (on average five to six days), so that the presence or absence of antibodies can indicate whether the patient is infected or not. The IgM antibody appears after incubation and its amount reaches its peak after about seven days. The IgG antibody is produced later and remains detectable in the blood for longer. This can serve as an indicator of an infection and/or an earlier infection.

Functioning
A blood sample (three drops) is mixed with a buffer solution. The solution is then drip into a proof card. There, a complex is formed with the fluorescence-marked recombinant Sars-Cov-2 protein. This in turn is captured by anti-human IgG / IgM antibodies on the nitrocellulose membrane. The value of the IgM/ G antibody concentration is finally detected by a fluorescence intensity test

Detection accuracy
The positive detection accuracy of a test with AFS 1000 and the test kit is about 93% and the negative detection accuracy is 99%.
