How we handle your personal data.
This is the privacy statement of Biotaris B.V. It explains which personal data we process when you visit this website or contact us, why we do so and what your rights are.

What data we process
Contact form, e-mail, telephone and WhatsApp. When you send us a request through the contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, company name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), country, the product you are interested in and your message. The same applies to the details you share with us by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp.
We use these details only to answer your question, to prepare a quotation and, if we do business together, to carry out the agreement. The legal basis is the preparation or performance of an agreement and our legitimate interest in answering your request.
Website visits. Our web server automatically records technical data for every visit, such as your IP address, the date and time and the page requested. We use this only to keep the website secure and working properly, and we do not combine it with other data.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Only if you give permission in the cookie banner, we use:
- Google Analytics, to see how visitors use the website (for example which pages are visited);
- Google Ads via Google Tag Manager, to measure which of our ads lead to a visit, a phone call or a request.
These services place cookies and send data such as your IP address and browsing behaviour to Google, which may process it outside the European Union. Without your permission, these services are not loaded and no tracking cookies are placed. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
The website only stores your choices (cookies and language) in your browser. Fonts and images are served from our own server.
How long we keep your data
We keep your request and our correspondence for as long as necessary to handle it properly. Correspondence that is part of our business records is kept for at least seven years, as required by Dutch law. Web server logs are deleted after a short period.
Who we share data with
We never sell your data. We only use service providers that help us run our business, such as our hosting provider (Tilaa, the Netherlands), our e-mail provider (Microsoft) and, with your permission, Google (Analytics and Ads). If you contact us via WhatsApp, WhatsApp’s own privacy policy also applies.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing and to receive it in a portable format. Send your request to info@biotaris.com. We will respond within one month.
If you believe we are not handling your data correctly, please let us know. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

We may update this privacy statement. The latest version is always available on this page.
